Who we are

Arrovio (“Arrovio,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is an independent mobile application based in Nevada, United States. Arrovio helps you discover top-rated restaurants near you, find local deals, and decide where to eat. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password through our authentication provider (Supabase).

Location information. To find restaurants near you, we collect the ZIP code you enter and, if you enable it, your device’s approximate location for “Near Me” search. You can decline location access and use ZIP entry instead.

Usage information. We collect limited usage data such as your daily search count (used to apply free-tier limits) and the restaurants you save as favorites.

Advertising and device information. Arrovio displays third-party ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect device identifiers (such as an advertising ID), IP address, general location, and app-interaction data. See “Advertising” below.

How we use your information

We use your information to: create and secure your account; return restaurant results and deals relevant to your location; apply free-tier search limits; save your favorites; display and measure advertising; operate, maintain, and improve the app; and comply with legal obligations.

Advertising

Arrovio is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads and to measure their performance. Google’s handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and AdMob’s data disclosures.

On iOS, we request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before any cross-app tracking occurs. On Android and iOS you can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings. Where required, we request your consent for personalized advertising.

Third-party services

Arrovio relies on trusted third parties to operate:

• Google Places & Google Maps — restaurant data, ratings, and mapping. Use of Google data is subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy.
• Supabase — authentication and secure data storage.
• Google AdMob — advertising.

These providers process data on our behalf or under their own privacy policies as described above.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above so the app can function, and when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

Data retention

We keep account and usage information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see below).

Your choices & rights

You can: decline or revoke location permission; reset or limit your advertising identifier in device settings; opt out of personalized ads where offered; and request access to or deletion of your account data by emailing us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR.

Children’s privacy

Arrovio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice.
